The location of the hotel was perfect for our weekend in the Swiss mountains. We were able to easily reach the ski lifts and the surrounding villages through the bus stop right in front of the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. We especially liked the restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious meals that exceeded our expectations.
If we arrived later in the morning, they were already gone. We wished they would make more to accommodate all guests.

- clean rooms, beautiful surroundings, free Wi-Fi (in the lobby), free sauna and steam bath
- there should just be a dispenser for the shower gel, instead of the little single-use bags (which don't get restocked daily); phonic insulation is quite poor, so don't hope to sleep in if you are a light sleeper; the staff was trying to force down my throat ski passes for the entire Saas Fee valley (arguing that it included the bus ticked for the terrible bus service to Saas Fee), even though I wanted Saas Fee only

The breakfast was good and filling, especially the croissants were freshly baked. the hotel staff was helpful when we asked for directions to some nearby tourist spots. the hotel itself was located in a beautiful mountainous region, and we enjoyed the scenic beauty of the place.
The rooms were a letdown, as they were poorly maintained and outdated. the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, and we had trouble sleeping.

Hotel staff is very friendly and family who run the hotel are very nice. They always tried to be very helpful. But English language was a barrier.
Out of 17 tv channels not a single one in English. No menus in English. Very poor breakfast buffet. Same choice of cold food every single day! Every guest gets an information booklet on their table every morning about the activities that day and menu. All in German. Hotel is ok only for people who speak German. No Iron in Hotel!! No kettles in the rooms. Linen is changed once in a week. Christmas Eve and Christmas dinners were expensive and not adjusted to kids. For Christmas Eve dinner we end up paying 55 fr per person with 30% and 40% reduction for kids. Kids went to beds hungry. Including drinks we spent 220fr for the dinner, so you can imagine the frustration. Christmas dinner was 48 fr per person and the same story with kids. I wonder if any child will eat baked tomato stuffed with mushrooms. Or rarely done piece of turkey for the main.
